Derbyshire Specialists Group renovates, extends and converts homes and refurbishes business premises across Derby and Derbyshire. Our own builders, joiners, plumbers, electricians, plasterers, tilers, floor layers and decorators work under one project manager, so even a job that needs all of them has one point of contact and one invoice.

If you only need one trade, we’re still happy to quote. Every job comes with the same standard of materials, chosen to last and backed by manufacturers’ warranties, and we’re insured to over £1,000,000.

Service questions

Do you take on small or single-trade jobs?

Yes. As well as full renovations and building projects, we take on individual jobs that need just one of our trades, such as a new floor, a rewire, some tiling or fitted wardrobes.

Do you work on commercial premises?

Yes. We refurbish and fit out offices, shops, salons, leisure venues and industrial units, and plan the work around your opening hours.

Can you manage the whole project for me?

Yes. One project manager runs the job from the first visit to handover and books every trade in the right order, and you pay one company for all of it.

Do you offer finance?

Yes. 0% APR finance is available on home projects through Ideal4Finance, a credit broker, subject to status.
